Making a Point About MVPs Links1
Since the NBA began selecting an MVP in 1955-56, four point guards have won the award a total of seven times: Bob Cousy (1957), Oscar Robertson (1964), Magic Johnson (1987, 1989, 1990) and Steve Nash (2005, 2006). Some say that Chris Paul had a unique season statistically but the reality is that while Paul has played very well other point guards have performed just as well and not won the MVP. [link]
