Also, just a week after being dealt, reports indicate that Bud Selig's office wants to investigate the trade and the circumstance surrounding Manny's move to the west coast. There is no chance of the deal being reversed, but what a sight to behold that would be.

dugoutcentral.com 8/10/2008 — Emotion may have not been a role in the Manny Ramirez trade, but I think Shaun Payne is WAY off in his evaluation of the Manny, Jason Bay deal. Payne suggestion that the Sox got the better end of the deal is ludicrous. To me Bay is an above average player who has ZERO expereince in any big games. Sure Manny is getting up there in age but he is still one of the most feared players in the game.
