Manuel skeptical of rain forecast

If the matinee is washed out, it will be made up as part of a split doubleheader Sunday. The first game would begin at 1:10 p.m. and the second at 8:10.

Note: Today’s Game will be Wet
MetsBlog.com — According to more-or-less every weather report, today’s weather forecast calls for heavy rain and high winds at 4 p.m. today through Sunday morning. Manuel, on the weather, as quoted by Newsday: “I don’t trust the weather.  Everybody says it’s going to rain and then the sun is shining. I’m telling you we’re playing tomorrow.” I hope he’s right. When The Rainout Happens Why Do I Get The 8:05 Game? The Mets Police
So, I bought tickets to a game scheduled for 1:05 on Sunday. ESPN, which hates children, moves the game to 8:05.   Sucks to be me. If today's game is rained out, that game will be moved to Sunday 1:05. So the people that wanted to go Saturday have to go Sunday.  The people who wanted to go Sunday afternoon have to go Sunday night.   Since the Saturday folks are screwed ...
