... , fällt Stephon Marbury den Rest der Saison aus. Grund: während der Operation - angesetzt auf 30 Minuten, dann aber verlängert um 90 Minuten - , bei der Marbury winzige Knochenbildungen, sog. Ostephyten entfernt werden sollten, gab es einige Komplikationen, die den Knickerbocker nun zwingen, die Saison endgültig zu beenden. Endültig müsste hier betont werden, hatte doch Marbury während der Saison wegen mehrerer, teils sehr individueller Gründe 17 Spiele (z. B. seiner Diskussion mit Isiah Thomas wegen dessen Androhung, Marbury von der Starting 5 auszuschließen) ...
