On any other club Gabby's a dozen points higher by years' end - every year's end - regardless of the inevitable and expected groin injuries to the porcelain superstar. An Offseason of Opportunity
Blueshirt Banter —
... Look, although it may sound that I'm more worried than excited with what Sather does to this roster over the next three months, it's quite the opposite. The fact of the matter is that the Rangers have their core players for the coming seasons; for better or worse. For Glen Sather, this offseason should be about finding the best players for the least amount of money. Sure, every Ranger fan would love Mike Knuble, Marian Gaborik, and Marian Hossa (a little shot at Joe there), but in all reality they are not the answer if you ask me. This ...

Nucks Misconduct —
... That is from CDC. They don't really mean all that much, but are eye-openers. What really matters to the Rangers is having Marian Gaborik in their lineup. The king of soft has 11 goals and 19 points in 13 games for the Rangers this season, as he has broken free of his defensive shackles in Minnesota and appears to be loving it in NY. Rangers Recap: Rangers Come Out on Top of Sabres, 2-1
Blueshirt Banter —
... . Well, that was exactly the case tonight in Buffalo, where the Blueshirts displayed a 60-minute effort and were able to gain a hard-fought two points in the standings. In addition to the strong defensive play, the Rangers got something they have not had in quite a while and by that I mean secondary scoring. For once, two players other than Marian Gaborik were able to bury goals in this one. ...

Garrioch: Rangers Eyeing Demitra
Nucks Misconduct —
... Of course, this juicy rumor holds legs in the fact that Demo's good buddy Marian Gaborik plays there, and hell, it's New York after all (everybody wants to play there...right?) Demitra wanted to play in Vancouver and I'm sure still does. I'm not so sure he'd want to bolt for Broadway the first chance he gets, nor am I so certain that Mike Gillis would trade him. The ...

Sedins Climbing The Canucks Charts
Nucks Misconduct —
... Only once has a Sedin exceeded 82 points in a season, and that was Daniel in 2006-07 where he scored 84 points. Henrik, if he can remain healthy, looks poised to hit the 100-point plateau or exceed it. He is averaging 1.225 points-per-game. Daniel is averaging 1.231 points per game. Gee, how identical. This was brought up last night in the comments thread:
