Yankees closer Mariano Rivera was selected as the winner of the "DHL Presents the Major League Baseball Delivery Man of the Month Award" for April in an announcement today, after saving eight of eight opportunities over the month. [link]

Mariano Rivera has won the "DHL Presents the Major League Baseball Delivery Man of the Month Award" for April. Mo was 8 for 8 in save opportunities with no runs allowed. In 10 games, he pitched 13 innings, striking out 12 batters while not issuing any free passes.
