Detroit Lions coach Rod Marinelli has a high interest in free-agent middle linebacker Al Wilson, who visited the team last week and took a physical. The Lions are looking to upgrade their defense in the draft and free agency. Wilson was out of football in 2007 after being released by Denver after eight seasons as a starter. Wilson had a neck injury when the Broncos released him.
