... during Wakamatsu’s career, and played in the College World Series twice. Wakamatsu was drafted by the Cincinnati Reds in the 11th round of the 1985 draft. He played in only 18 games in the Majors, with the 1991 Chicago White Sox, and batted .226 in 31 at-bats.
