Chris Volstad, the 16th overall pick in the 2005 First-Year Player Draft, had his contract selected from Double-A Carolina on Sunday afternoon, where initially he will be available to pitch out of the bullpen. [link]

Chris Volstad is on the way. The Marlins top prospect is now ready to join the big leagues.
