New Nike Team USA TV Commercial
Dime Magazine — This morning we got word that Nike Basketball is set to drop their new commercial for the Olympics. The spot is set to Marvin Gaye’s live version of “The Star Spangled Banner” from the 1983 All-Star Game in L.A. and showcases Team USA in training camp practices leading up to Beijing. Lakers Blog — The good folks over at Nike sent us a link for the newest USA Basketball spot (featuring Kobe and the gang), which is intertwined with clips of Marvin Gaye singing his unique (and at the time, very controversial) version of the Star Spangled Banner at the 1983 All-Star game.
