Jason Taylor Wants To Play For A Winning Team
Published 6/21/2008 by Brandon at Acme Packing Company
... But in Miami DE Jason Taylor's world, the Packers don't count as a winning team since they play in the smallest NFL market. He's narrowed it down to 12 teams, but not the Packers. Since he plays the same position and is very similar to DE KGB, he's not the best fit in Green Bay anyway. But I don't buy that Green Bay is too small crap. If the Packers really wanted this guy and put the hard sell on him, then they could get into the mix. If they managed to recruit DE Reggie White 15 years ago when Green Bay was struggling through it's 20th straight season of mediocrity, then they ...

Jason Taylor is Full of Crap

... , in the Green & Gold next season, but now I don’t want to touch him with a 50-foot pole drenched in disinfectant. The man has locker room cancer written all over him now. The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel has a great piece on this situation that has totally changed my mind about Taylor. ...
J.T. TOO BIG FOR G.B.?
Published 6/21/2008 by Mike Florio at ProFootballTalk.com
Apparently, the road to Tinsletown doesn’t pass through Titletown. Despite reports that the Green Bay Packers are interested in Dolphins defensive end Jason Taylor, the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel reports that Taylor isn’t interested in playing such a small market . “I don’t see it happening,” a source close to Taylor (presumably, agent Gary Wichard) told Greg Bedard of it Journal-Sentinel . Taylor, per Bedard, is believed to be interested in the Cowboys, Patriots, Chargers, Eagles, Jaguars, and as many of seven others. The primary factors are market size and likelihood of ...

... Dolphins seem to have a good working relationship so I guess anything is possible... None of the sources would give out the complete list, which has roughly 12 teams on it. San Diego, New England, Dallas, Jacksonville and Philadelphia are among the teams Taylor is interested in, but all have at least two of the following three traits in common: They have a chance to go deep into the playoffs, are in close proximity to Florida or California or reside in a top television market. ... On the Jason Taylor rumors front it looks like the Packers were never really in the competition for his services (should he decide to play this year). Seems he already has a list of the teams that he would be will to sign with and the Pack ain't on it. I never seriously entertained the thought of him coming here so my reaction to that is . . . "meh, he's no Reggie White". But I am fearful of the fact that Green Bay is once again becoming the player's pariah NFL cities. Before Reggie White no high profile free agent would have even considered coming to Green Bay for a number of ...
