Major League Soccer saw a great deal of great action through the weekend, including two hat tricks and a high goal total in general.  Strikers were indeed the stars in round 12, and the league saw another great week for attendances, with one match attracting nearly 40,000 spectators… In that ‘California Clasico’ Saturday night contest in San Jose, the visiting Galaxy stole the show, and by doing so, kept themselves on the top of the Western Conference.  LA’s Edson Buddle scored every goal in their 3-0 win, garnering his second hat trick of the season.
