Hawaiian-born Brian Ching was awarded the league’s Player of the Week for this, the 11th round of Major League Soccer.  His team, the Houston Dynamo started out as the worst team in the league, with no wins for the first several weeks despite being the two-time defending MLS Cup Champions.  This week, however, Ching helped solidify the club’s recent surge by participating in every goal of their 3-1 win.  His two goals and one assist against Toronto FC on Sunday helped the team - who had languished so long at the bottom of the Western Conference table - to now move into a tie for first place ...
