Just think about the ratings if a Mike D'Antoni coached Dallas Mavericks were to meet against a Don Nelson coached Golden State Warriors in the western conference finals. ... The Dallas Mavericks fired head coach Avery Johnson on Wednesday, one day after the team lost in the first round of the playoffs for the second consecutive season.
