Melky Cabrera says he’s innocent and plans to talk to his agent about appealing to Major League Baseball. Presumably, MLB must have some sort of evidence to suspend him for three games. Shelley Duncan has not yet decided whether he will appeal. Meanwhile, Ian Kennedy will start against the Rays with Mariano Rivera and Kei Igawa to follow.
