Memphis Blows 9-Point Lead; Kansas Takes Title
The Memphis Tigers were up by nine points with 2:12 remaining in regulation but missed free throws and a game-tying three-pointer by Mario Chalmers with 2.1 seconds left helped Kansas win their first national championship in 20 years with a hard fought 75-68 victory over the Tigers.
