Paulie has been so underrated with his talents and ability by the media and Mets management that it's pathetic.  LoDuca represents all that this ballclub should hope to aspire to become a winning team.  It's almost ironic that he's the first to fall. He has shown guts and passion for this game, like no other catcher in the MLB.  So he wasnt shining as brighly this season as he had in the past. What about Reyes in the second half of the season.?  What about Delgado for the whole season?  What about the whole pitching bullpen? At least LoDuca was on fire 110% of the time. Even when the chips weren't falling on his side of the table.  The rest of the team was sleeping when Paulie was tryin to wake em up. LoDuca was the team player! He was the guy who put the team before himself.  Maybe he's not as pretty as Wright or Reyes, but hell, he's everything that baseball is all about.  If the Mets want glamour, tell em to hire showgirls!!! If they want a catcher, let em do the right thing.
