Earlier this evening the following apology was sent to all Met fans who subscribe to their online newsletter. First off, kudos to the organization for a quick, appropriate and unexpected gesture. It doesn't take away the pain, but it certainly a noteworth acknowledgment on behalf of the inflictors. The full "letter" is contained below... [link]
