Mets put Ramon Martinez on DL with fractured pinkie
PITTSBURGH - Jerry Manuel was expecting to make a choice between Ramon Martinez and Wilson Valdez for the Mets' upcoming series of roster moves. As it turned out, that decision was made for him Wednesday when Martinez was placed on the disabled list with a fractured pinkie finger.
