Now that the Mets finally can talk money with their targeted free agents, and specifically their top choices for closer, there apparently is no rush for them to do so. Instead, general manager Omar Minaya has the luxury of mulling over a number of options, including a trade, and waiting for the market to come back to him with only three weeks left before the start of the winter meetings in Las Vegas.
