It took long enough, but someone had to say it. The college football world does not revolve around Michigan. The resignation of Lloyd Carr has removed the self-obsessed rock most Wolverine fans have lived in under for the past decade. If a coach at a school from a state who's biggest accomplishment is the deep dish pizza can turn down the supposed holy grail of coaching positions, so can anyone.
