No matter what you do, not matter what the goal is, if you don’t work hard enough, you won’t succeed. Michael Jordan has released a new commercial through NIKE that has really hit me. The effect of this commercial hopefully will be huge for the young kids out there. As a more mature young adult, I clearly understand everything that Michael Jordan says in this “Become Legendary” commercial.

fastbreakblog I disagree. The ad will have zero effect on youth, other than having them go out and shell out mad jack for overpriced sneakers. If he really had youth in mind, he would make his shoes affordable, so inner city kids would not have to scrounge for whatever his gear costs. It is a well-crafted ad, for Nike's gain. This is not a public service announcement. -
LABallTalk i agree and disagree at the same time. I think it's important that kids get this message from someone they trust and perhaps one or two will understand it, while the other side of it is strictly for sales. It seemed like the first NIKE commercial that wasn't just there to show off products, it was a short bio and inspirational clip...
