There are, for sure, some in the Yankee organization (like Randy Levine) who would be thrilled to tear down Torre’s reputation. Kay is chief hatchet man.
So, when he stupidly rips Torre for calling Jorge Posada to check up on the injured Yankee catcher, or praises his ex-broadcasting buddy turned manager Joe Girardi, remember that Kay has an agenda. Tear down Torre whenever possible.
