Mile after mile of green muck threatens Olympic events

The Chinese government has pledged to contain the giant bloom, which feeds on pollution, in time for the international sailing events that begin Aug. 9 at the Qingdao Olympic Sailing Center. Reuters says 10,000 people and 1,200 vessels have until July 15 to "banish the algae." [link]
