Javier Vazquez White Sox: Make it two straight stellar starts for Vazquez, who allowed only one Detroit runner to reach second base during Sunday's 11-0 victory over the Tigers at U.S. Cellular Field. A good day’s worth of MLB action today. Here’s the link from MLB.com to the boxscores and a little bit of my opinion on them: Cubs 3, Pirates 2 Rich Hill finally gave the Cubs a good start and got some confidence back. Reed Johnson, with two hits and a RBI today, is starting to look like a great pick-up. Orioles 8, Yankees 2 Phil Hughes started off strong, but blew up in the sixth inning.
