Not so fast my friend… You may have read on SBI, that Ives thinks it’s inevitable that the Hunts will cash in on Cooper this winter rather than lose him at the end of next season when his contract runs out. The only problem with this argument is that Cooper has two option seasons left on his current contract, not one. It goes without saying HSG/FCD will be picking those options up unless they can get Cooper on a new deal. Could they still be willing to sell? Of course, there could. Ives is right about the talks being stalled with Cooper’s people wanting DP and MLS/HSG/FCD ...
