Mo Edu on the Move?
Never mind that Bruce Arena was hangin' at Home Depot Center with Galaxy execs, that the Los Angeles derby ended in a tie and that T&T; defeated El Salvador, 3-1, in a fiesty friendly at RFK, thanks to Cornell Glen's two goals. Maurice Edu to Glasgow Rangers?
American Soccer Reader — ... According to Steve Goff, and one other Scotland-based source, Toronto FC Defensive Midfielder Maurice Edu is close to securing a transfer to Glasgow Rangers, for a transfer fee thought to be in the region of $5 Million. Edu recently returned after a disappointing Olympic campaign with the US. Edu was last years MLS Rookie of the year, and has earned 6 caps for the United States National Team. The 22 year old midfielder was the first overall pick of the 2007 MLS Superdraft. The move would seem Maurice join fellow United States Men’s National Team teammate Demarcus Beasley ...

Report: Edu set for Glasgow Rangers move
Soccer By Ives — ... According to the Washington Post, Edu is on the verge of a $5 million move to Scottish power Glasgow Rangers. Edu has been drawing the eye of European scouts for some time, and even drew some interest from English club Aston Villa last year, but the MLS rookie of the year appears poised to make the move just two seasons after being the No. 1 overall pick in the 2007 MLS Draft. ...

Edu to Rangers?
The Beautiful Game — Maurice Edu is gonna be a great player. Maybe better than Adu and Altidore -- who looked pretty pedestrian at the Olympics. Goff is reporting that the young American could be headed to Rangers F.C. of Glasgow soon. I am told the transfer fee would approach $5 million. It's not a done deal, but the sides are apparently nearing an agreement.I hope the move is made and this guy develops into a mainstay in the U.S. midfield.

The Offside Rules — ... Meanwhile, Stuart Holden looks pleasingly pickled, Jozy Altidore looks troubled and recent Rangers acquisition Maurice Edu is licking his lips as if she were slathered in hot wing sauce. Ladies of Glasgow watch out...you have been warned.
