The Sporting Blog — ... Atlanta Braves 5-3 Wednesday in front of an incredibly sparse crowd of just 600 fans at the first pitch. This should come as no surprise, though. Around this same time last season, a Nationals-Marlins game drew no more than 400 fans, one of which was tossed out of the game for heckling the home plate umpire.
