Randy Moss was very close to coming to Philadelphia. Various sources are reporting that the Eagles offered Moss more money, but Moss was simply more comfortable remaining in New England. philly.com 3/4/2008 — The Philadelphia Daily News is reporting that Eagles coach Andy Reid spoke with Patriots WR Randy Moss today about joining the Eagles. The report says that the Eagles offered Randy Moss more than the $27M he got in New England.
