So every all star game each player is given one of their home jerseys to autograph for a charity auction for the MLBPA. Each year you autograph that jersey and afterwards they collect them and auction them off. Red Sox Sign 1B Sean Casey

Today, the Red Sox signed 33 year old Sean Casey to a $700,000 deal. The Red Sox first option was Brad Wilkerson who they pulled out on earlier today or this week. Because today Brad Wilkerson was signed to Seattle for a 1 year $3 million deal. Wilkerson would have fit the OF and 1st base back up positions. Sean Casey has played 1st base his entire life and will continue to do so.
