ESPN Predictions....Not Much Celtics Love
LOY's PLACE a celtics green blog — ... as their only candidate is Lester Hudson and it would be a huge upset for the 57th pick to overtake either Blake Griffin or Tyreke Evans who are the picks of choice. And there are no Celtics mentioned for Most Improved Player either. As with the 6th man, there are a variety of opinions with the most votes going to Andrew Bynum. Bynum has too much of an opinion of himself to be most improved. I'd say that Perk and Rondo have a good chance at this one but I guess I'm on my own with that one. ...

Possibly crazy ESPN writer chooses Rudy (!)
Bust a Bucket - A Portland Trail Blazers Blog — Scoop Jackson is never wrong and only writes very smart things. In order to to believe me don't read this. Or anything else Scoop has written. Anyways, the important thing is that Scoop Jackson is incredibly down with Rudy (!) Fernandez. In fact, he believes that Rudy (!) will win the Sixth Man of the Year Award. David Thorpe is also in, picking Fernandez to take home Most Improved honors. With such a stacked roster I'm not sure there will be enough opportunities for Fernandez to get the kinds of stats necessary to win awards. I do appreciate that ...

Nets on the Net: 10/24/09 Edition
NetsAreScorching - New Jersey Nets Blog - Nets News, Rumors, Analysis, Podcasts, Salaries, & Statistics — ... you up with a busy Friday and Saturday for Nets news. First on the Newark front, Nets officials say they will only facilitate a move to the Prudential Center, once construction has begun in Brooklyn. Meanwhile, NJ Democrats seem lukewarm to the idea of the Nets breaking their lease at the Izod Center. On rookie options: Yes to Brook Lopez, Yi Jianlian and Courtney Lee. No to Sean Williams. NBC sees Brook as a Most Improved Player candidate. ESPN mentions Courtney Lee as a candidate, and Rafer Alston as a Sixth Man candidate. ...

Of Erogenous Zones and Intestinal Webbing
El Blog Ilusorio de Rudy — ... Initially, I found myself unable to rid my mind of the pernicious image of Oliver Miller straining KJ’s intestinal webbing. But luckily, two ESPN scribes picked as their favored candidate for the Sixth Man of the Year and Most Improved Player awards, respectively. ...

Full Court Press
Blazersedge — ... tumble out. He reaches in and pulls out a tiny rodent demon. He places said demon on the bathroom counter, and then pulls out a tiny demon-sized bowie knife from the handle of his bowie knife. He gives the knife to the demon, and then the demon commits seppuku. Not really a quote, but that's what needs to be done for Travis to play defense and learn how not to step on the three-point line. Who has the mushrooms? Greg Oden and Rudy Fernandez make ESPN's Most Improved Players nominees. Rudy gets a nod for 6th man ...
