Week 8 NBA power rankings: back to the top (10)
Blazers Blog —
Thank you Brandon Roy. Marc Stein at ESPN.com jumps the Blazers two spots and back into the top 10, at No. 10: We probably had 'em too high at No. 4. We definitely had 'em too low at No. 12. And we boldly predict Portland will stay in the top 10 if Brandon Roy keeps scoring 36 a night, as he has over the past five games. ...

... to 28.0 percent under Brooks. Quite simply, Durant is playing a different game. It's also a much better one, as reflected in the massive spikes in his effective field-goal percentage and his True Shooting Percentage. Durant has gone from a low-efficiency, volume shooter to the kind of lethal, highly-efficient scorer he was in his lone season at Texas. And he's done it while slashing his turnovers as well.

John Schumann at NBA.com: 2nd to Last (also over the Raptors)

... from Bucks Diary say the Bucks should go after him. While Hendrix has been productive wherever he's been, the problem of course is the Bucks already have the maximum 15 players under contract. Granted, it's not like Damon Jones or Francisco Elson are providing anything of value, but I doubt the Bucks buy out Jones to add a D-Leaguer...it'd be far too progressive.
