 NBA.com: NBA Draft 2007: What’s the Consensus? Links7
SECAUCUS, NJ, May 18, 2007 -- We're just a few days away from the Draft Lottery and a little over a month from the draft, and the hype surrounding the class of 2007 has been out of control for a while now. And now, there are only six teams still playing basketball, so the other 24 are preparing for the '07-08 campaign. The final draft order will be determined at the Draft Lottery on Tuesday, ... David Aldridge: 'The Blazers could shape the draft'
Published 5/8/2007 by Casey Holdahl at Blazers Blog - OregonLive.com
... in which he declares that the Blazers could control the 2007 draft. There's not a ton of information that you probably don't already know (Blazers have a lot of young talent, Zach Randolph is a 20/10 guy, Kevin Pritchard knows what he's doing, ect.), it's great to hear the national media give the Blazers some much-deserved respect. There's also a great compilation of mock drafts here . Not a whole lot of consensus on who the Blazers will take (if they take anyone). Nothing too earth shattering, though I think

I’d love to see an Oden/Redd combo to give me an NBA team to follow while I continue wondering if Lebron will ever develop the killer instinct necessary to earn the comparisons to Magic, MJ, et al. Drama City Loses Again

... Even if you don’t follow the NBA, the drama that surrounded this year’s Draft Lottery made for a solid viewing experience.  With Greg Oden and Kevin Durant dangling in front of bottom feeding teams – some of which blatantly threw in the towel late in the season to improve their lottery chances – an unexpected shuffling at the top of the draft order caused ripples throughout the NBA.  Portland snagged the number one pick, with Seattle at #2.  The Grizzlies and Celtics, the teams with highest chances to get the top two picks fell to #4 and #5 respectively. With a population that loves sports drama as much as it loves its Dunkin Donuts, the focus over the past few days has been squarely on the once proud Boston Celtics.  They tanked the season to get a shot at one of the big boys and it backfired, now they’re stuck with the fifth pick meaning they could get anyone from Mike Conley Jr. to Yi Jianlian depending on which

Bucks Prospects: PF Al Horford
Published 6/9/2007 by Blogmaster at Bucks Diary
... Bottom Line: If Horford falls to the Bucks at 6, I will jump for joy. He won't be a superstar, but he should be a solid contributor in areas of need for the Bucks. And, to me, he is clearly the third best prospect in this draft. I think that amongst the crop of possible Bucks selections, he is the least likely to bust. But I am not that optimistic that he will be there at 6. As I see it, the only chance of that happening is if the Hawks take Conley at 3, and the other teams above the Bucks fall in love with the mysterious Chinese guy and the potential upside of Brandan Wright. Unfortunately, at this point, I don't see that happening. NBA.com's consensus mock draft has him going at 4 to Memphis.
