Published 9/4/2007 by FLCeltsFan at LOY's PLACE a celtics green blog
... Marc Spears has a good article in the Globe on Garnett and his workouts in Vegas with Joe Abunassar. Abunassar has been working out Garnett for seven weeks this summer, the majority of the time in Los Angeles. The regimen includes about 90 minutes of weight training and 90 minutes of basketball drills and five-on-five scrimmages. While Celtics training camp doesn't begin until Sept. 30 in Rome, Garnett already seems to be in prime shape. ...

Garnett Working Hard For His New Team
Published 9/4/2007 by Matthew Withers at TWolvesBlog
The Boston Globe recently reported that their are 20 players working out in Vegas under the Abunassar Impact Basketball system. Out of those 20 players, Garnett is reportedly working out earlier and later than everyone else every day. This does not come as a shock to those of us who have been long time KG fans. What is a surprise is the extent to which Garnett is taking this. " The 6-foot-11-inch, 253-pounder also sprinted while pulling a man with a resistance cable. After the drill, a sweat-drenched Garnett made the majority of his free throws while pumping himself up. " the Globe reported. Interesting, that the individual who always pushed harder and worked harder than anyone else is working and pushing harder now that he is on a competitive team.
