Call me cynical here, but one would imagine that the woman who was hit would be making sure her baby was okay rather than emailing a newspaper and talking like a lawyer if the baby was actually injured. On the other hand, if I was pregnant (and I hope I’m not, although it has been a while since my last period) and some fool hit me with a fucking monster truck, I’d make sure I took enough of his money that he’d be driving a goddamn Golf for the rest of his life.
