One surprise to this list is QB Vinny Testaverde has been cut and the Patriots will keep QB Matt Gutteirez on the final roster. Maybe it was Vinny’s Jets fan comment? The cuts bring the Patriots to 53 including Asante Samuel and Rodney Harrison - both are exempt as Samuel has an exemption since he just signed with the team and Harrison is sitting out due to a four-game suspension.
