Wang-related headlines are pretty much always awesome.

Back on my old website, I ran a contest to see who could come up with the best Wang headlines.  I promise I'm only linking to it because of its relevance:

I don't know what's going on today but we have an unusually high number of stories about wangs, jock straps, and knees to the groin. One possibility is a lot of bloggers took a day off for Mother's Day and this is the result - PMS (Post Mother's day Syndrome). Which reminds me, great to see Home Run Derby and Baseball Musings followed through on their home run pledges!

Headline Writers - Manipulative Geniuses or Just Plain Clueless?
Published 5/14/2007 at St. Louis Sports Magazine
... Nothing amuses me like headline writers. Most of the time, it’s nothing they do on purpose, it’s just the admirable act of trying so darn hard to take the sports news of the day and reduce it to a clever two or three word cheesy play-on-words. I’ve always pictured in my head a headline writer pumping his fist and exchanging high fives after coming up with a headline like “Dupli-Gator” after the Florida Gators repeated as NCAA champs this March (that one was from Foxsports.com if you were interested). Sometimes, however, they make me laugh for an entirely different reason, albeit still an unintentional one. FireJoeMorgan.com pointed out this beauty on Yahoo sports (via the Associated Press) that appeared on Friday, after the Yankees were beaten up by the Rangers. The
