Jay Cutler Sweepstakes Ends for Cleveland; Dealt to Chicago
Dawgs By Nature —
... Broncos have agreed in principle to trade quarterback Jay Cutler to the Chicago Bears. Terms of the deal will be disclosed at a later time.

While Cutler might be coming to Cleveland, I still wouldn't be surprised if Denver attempts to acquire Derek Anderson from us. Of course they'd rather have Brady Quinn, but I don't believe we'll part with him.
UPDATE: Terms of the deal are now available, according to the NFL Network. This is what it looks like right now:

How the Cutler Trade Affects the Eagles
Inside the Iggles | A Philadelphia Eagles Blog —
Unless you’ve been dead, incapacitated or lost in a drug-induced haze, you know Jay Cutler has been dealt to the Bears. Good move by both teams, in my opinion. Chicago gets what they’ve been missing since the heyday of Jim McMahon. Denver gets a #1 pick this year and next, as well as an extra 3rd rounder this April. Oh, I almost forgot, Kyle Orton too.
So, what does all this mean for the Eagles? First of all, Cutler won’t be a Redskin. I guess that’s good news. Although, the Birds have had problems beating the ‘Skins with Jason Campbell ...
Cutler to the Bears: Former Patriots OC McDaniels grants the QB's wish
Pats Pulpit —
... way out of proportion. He's being a little to sensitive towards the situation. If every player wanted to get traded in the NFL after hearing their name in trade talks, we wouldn't be able to play any games. That's the business. It's not the first time it's happened, or last. He's a good quarterback. He should have stayed in Denver, they had a good system. The grass isn't always greener.

The Mile High Report —
Well, that was quick - wasn't it? Just to recap, Denver sent Cutler and a 5th-rounder (from Seattle, Kerry Colbert) to Chicago for this year's #18 overall choice, the #84 pick (3rd round), Chicago's 2010 first-rounder and QB Kyle Orton. For what it's worth, Orton was 21-12 in his career for a team with few offensive weapons.
DB - Here's the announcement from DenverBroncos.com, with an updated list of the Broncos' 2009 draft choices. Josh McDaniels will speak at 11AM MST.
DP - Klis offers up quotes from Josh McDaniels, several Broncos past and present, and a timeline of what WAS the Cutler situation. By the way, Jay ...
Jay Cutler Trade Analysis - Broncos Robbin' Da Bears
Outside the Boxscore —
The final details of the trade: Bears get Jay Cutler and a 5th Rounder this year Broncos get Kyle Orton, a 1st and 3rd Rounder this year and a 1st Rounder next year Now there are a lot of teams that needed to try to trade for Cutler and the Bears were definitely high on that list. But I think they gave up waaaay too much for Cutler here, even if he does do well in Chi town. In 2 ways. For one, 2 1st round picks and a third rounder are nothing to laugh at. Granted you've got to actually sign those picks, but the Broncos have a solid WR corps, a decent when not injured TE and a stable of RBs and will use most/all of ...
McDaniels Speaks
The National Football Post » Hot News and Rumors —
McDaniels Speaks From NFL.com : Denver Broncos coach Josh McDaniels spoke to the media Friday, one day after the blockbuster trade that sent QB Jay Cutler and a draft pick to the Chicago Bears for QB Kyle Orton and three draft picks . McDaniels, wearing a hoodie, praised both Cutler and Orton and explained the Broncos’ reasoning for making the deal, saying the rift between Cutler and the organization stemming from its interest in Matt Cassel could not be patched up. “It was gonna require two people to want the same resolution. To me, that’s where it fell through,” McDaniels said. “It became obvious that it wasn’t going to be resolved the way we were trying ...
