Nike, Paragon Marketing and ESPN are working on a postseason eight-team national boys high school tournament in April in Washington, D.C., according to USA Today.
One of the teams being targeted is Danny Hurley’s St. Benedict’s of Newark team, which finished No. 2 in last season’s final USA TODAY Super 25 rankings and has at least six Division I prospects, including 6-10 junior Tristan Thompson, who has already committed to Texas, and senior guard Tamir Jackson.
