... Jonathan Givony of DraftExpress noticed a change in NCAA rules which will make private draft workouts held by individual NBA teams more convenient for bubble underclassmen. Previously, prospects who had not hired an agent (in order to preserve NCAA eligibility) had to pay their own way to draft workouts. This limited those fellows quite a bit; Givony adds it also caused more prospects to set their eligibility on fire and sign with agents early, which was the opposite of the NCAA's goals. ...

... . The NCAA has allowed college underclassman to have their expenses for workouts paid by the NBA which is why there are a lot of "strange" declarations by some juniors. Individual workouts, however, still are not allowed until the conclusion of the Orlando pre-draft camp on June 3rd.

... Before we get into each player, a disclaimer: With the new rule that NBA teams pay for expenses for a player’s individual workout, there should be some obvious decisions to be made. First, NO ONE should finish college without declaring for the draft. I might be missing something here, but if there is no money to lose, then there is absolutely nothing to lose by declaring and not hiring an agent. The school year is over by draft time, most college coaches are gonna want you in the weight room or on the track in the morning around this time of year, all the chicks are off campus, ...
