There’s no doubt that Paul has entered himself into the race for league MVP. Mainly, because of his team’s surprising success (they are 34-15, and only trail the Suns by one game for the best record in the West), but no less because of his ability to make this man a serviceable offensive player.
On top of his second-best 10.9 assists per game, Paul is averaging 20.4 points per game himself.
