Yesterday, I wrote how the Mets have been confident a deal would get done this week. In fact, I was told on Sunday night that team intended to make news sooner than later.
Rodriguez’s agent, Paul Kinzer, told reporters, “They’re going well… I am more optimistic that I’ve ever been.”
Jon Heyman of SI.com believes the deal will be worth $37 million.
