Newcastle United Sign New Wayne Rooney
NEWCASTLE United appear to have beaten off competition from Arsenal, Tottenham and Portsmouth for a young striker being called the 'new Wayne Rooney'. The Magpies are reported to be on brink of sealing the signature of promising Plymouth Argyle striker Aaron Spear. Newcastle director of football Dennis Wise is said to have negotiated the deal for the 15-year-old.
