It was over when ... Jeff Reed 's 24-yard field goal broke a scoreless tie with 17 seconds left in the fourth quarter. The Steelers were able to swallow up Ted Ginn, Jr. on the ensuing kickoff and held on for the victory. Game ball Reed earns the honor for his kick. The field goal was not a chip shot, given the condition of the rain-soaked field. He had missed a 44-yarder in the third quarter. ...

Miami Dolphins The Miami Dolphins are a proud franchise. During Don Shula's tenure from 1970 to 1995, the Dolphins had just two losing seasons. Their consecutive losing seasons in '06 and '07 are the first consecutive losing seasons the franchise has had since their first years from '66-'69. They've been to five Super Bowls, won two Super Bowls, and of course, have the only undefeated season in NFL history, the 17-0 1972 team. So now the Dolphins are 0-11 after losing to the Pittsburgh Steelers 3-0 on a field goal kicked with 17 seconds left in the game. What a trying year for the Dolphin fans. They really shouldn't care enough to ...

mlive.com 11/27/2007 — Jeff Reed's 24-yard field goal with 17 seconds left gave the Pittsburgh Steelers a 3-0 victory Monday night over the winless Miami Dolphins, the first time in 64 years an NFL game lasted that long without any points.
