RAMS SHOCKING THE ‘SKINS
ProFootballTalk.com — After spotting Washington seven points early in the game, the St. Louis Rams have roared into the lead. Despite being two-touchdown underdogs, the Rams currently hold a six-point edge over the Redskins, 16-10. The Rams’ performance has been fueled by a defensive touchdown, courtesy of a fumble by offensive lineman Pete Kendall, who caught a batted ball late in the first half and tried to advance it. The action can be followed right here ...

First Place
The Ragnarok — Ladies and Gentlemen--your first place Minnesota Vikings! That was ugly. U-G-L-Y. Kevin Williams is unbelievable. Bernard Berrian was a great signing. And I'm seriously trying to decide if I'd rather have the Vikings miss the playoffs if it means they get a new coach. But the Falcons win means that the Purple are tied for first with the Bears. More on the game later today and tomorrow. Then I'm moving on, because a 12-10 win over this Lions team is pathetic, but it could be worse, because the Lions aren't the worst team in the league and because the Lions didn't win.

RAMS-REDSKINS ONE-LINERS
ProFootballTalk.com — After making a diving catch to set up the winning field goal , Rams WR Donnie Avery said “I guess I’m a playmaker, huh?” A personal foul by Rams G Richie Incognito on the final drive made that winning kick a lot tougher. Redskins RB Clinton Portis had 129 yards and two touchdowns . Portis said that the Redskins “overlooked” the previously winless Rams in the days leading into the game. The next time Redskins G Pete Kendall sees a batted pass heading in his direction, he’ll knock it down instead of trying to run with it. Redskin fans booed P Durant Brooks for his lackluster kicking day . Rams offensive coordinator Al ...
