The Falcons released 7 players most notably Crumpler, Byron Leftwich and Rod Coleman. Crumpler could be Carolina bound, Leftwich shouldn't get a starting position anywhere after being fired by his last two teams, and Coleman could be attractive as the market for defensive linemen is higher than in years past.
