After he spent last season managing the Single-A Greenville Drive in the Red Sox system, I thought Gabe Kapler would have a pretty easy time answering the usual final question for Nine Innings - I can’t think of another major leaguer who has managed in the minors and come back the next season. I did touch on that experience with Kapler when he came to Shea in his resumed playing career with the Brewers, but not as part of the answer to that question. What did he say?
