FROM PRESS RELEASE LUBBOCK, Texas — The No. 18 Texas Longhorns posted a historic performance to record a 22-6 win over the Texas Tech Red Raiders in Big 12 Conference baseball action Thursday evening at Dan Law Field. The Longhorns scored their most runs ever in a Big 12 Conference game in the victory. Texas’ previous best came in an 18-5 win over Oklahoma on April 2, 2000. The Longhorns had also scored 19 runs last season against Kansas State in the Big 12 Conference Championship, considered a non-league game.
