Free-agent quarterback Trent Dilfer, the sixth overall pick in the 1994 turned right-place, right-time journey who won a Super Bowl to cap the 2000 season, won’t be playing football in 2008.
We’re told that Dilfer suffered a torn Achilles tendon while playing basketball.
