The California Supreme Court banned the sale of kangaroo-leather products Monday. Certain brands soccer shoes -- including those once popularized by the golden boy David Beckham -- are made from our marsupial friends. David Beckham has spent a lot of time in the studio taking pictures. He's also spent a lot of time shooting fancy commercials, talking to the media, and making himself the life of Hollywood, rubbing elbows with the stars. What he hasn't spent a lot of time doing, is playing any kind of soccer. Not in England, not in Spain, and surely not in the United States.
